Newly Redesigned Model Rooms at Case
May 28, 2015
Case is one of our residential properties that truly allows residents to express their creativity. The model rooms at Case were recently redesigned.
The A unit is designed with an art-loving couple in mind.
The loft-like bedroom upstairs in the E unit has full-length windows looking out onto the rooftop garden.
I always love visiting friends' homes, as seeing how each person, couple, or family decorates and designs their living space gives a real insight into their personalities and tastes. Deciding how you want your home to look and feel can be a fun, but also sometimes daunting, project. This is why model rooms are so great to visit-they give us ideas on different ways we can use the space and make it our own.
The model rooms at Case, one of MORI LIVING's most unique properties, were recently redesigned, once again proving that the apartments themselves are really just blank canvases on which residents can express their own unique creativity.
The A unit is designed with an art-loving couple in mind. Perhaps their children are grown and have left home, and they have made their new home into a serene, relaxing space reminiscent of a modern art gallery. The spacious living room, dining room and open kitchen are simply designed in neutral colors, allowing the art to take center stage. The television is hidden inside an entertainment center with sliding doors, keeping it out of sight when not in use. The separate downstairs room has been laid out as a guest room, which might be used by the couple's children or friends when they come for a visit. When there are no visitors, it can be used as an office or study; a place for pursuing hobbies, interests or side projects.
The E unit also consists of two bedrooms on two different floors, although these are connected by an indoor staircase. Designed in the image of a small family, the living and dining space on the main level has an elegant yet homey feel to it. A large cushy sofa, flatscreen TV, and large dining tables allow for lots of entertaining at home. Set off in one corner is a neat workspace, perfect for a mother who works from home or just wants a spot to sit with her laptop. The loft-like bedroom upstairs, which has full-length windows looking out onto the rooftop garden, is designed for a child, with plenty of open floor space for playing, a desk for completing schoolwork, and colorful accents.
Each of the new model rooms at Case gives a completely different impression, despite starting with a similar canvas as the next. It really makes it clear that the possibilities for self expression are endless!
