Toru Nishide at ARK Towers, our oldest residence with more than a quarter - century history.
His favorite place in ARK Hills is, needless to say, ARK Garden.
"I hope that the days we spend here at ARK Towers will be unforgettable for each one of us and that they will stay in our minds for a long, long time".
Toru Nishide at ARK Towers, our oldest residence with more than a quarter - century history, is a Shihan (master instructor) in Ohara School of Ikebana. Just like he has the face of a front desk staff and the face of a Shihan, he has another name beside from Toru:Toryoku(the name literally means "Transparent Green", with the same Kanji used for "To" and "Toru").
"I like making flower arrangements(in Japanese, "Hana wo Ikeru"-"giving life to flowers")because it really allows me to develop a selfless mind" he says. His gracious manners and the Omotenashi(hospitality) spirit have been fostered through the philosophy of Kado(Way of Flowers) as well as by his parents who are familiar with both Kado and Sado(Way of Tea), and place a great value on traditional Japanese manners.
"I had always thought it would be nice to work at ARK Towers, a residence full of dignity with so many beautiful flowers blooming from season to season", he says. His favorite place in ARK Hills is, needless to say, ARK Garden.
Toru's motto is " to make every moment memorable". "I hope that the days we spend here at ARK Towers will be unforgettable for each one of us and that they will stay in our minds for a long, long time", Toru said quietly, but with a lot of love and passion inside.
