Take your food to one of the two tables equipped with cooling ashimizu footbaths and relax as you listen to the soothing sounds of rustling bamboo and furin wind chimes.

Again this year, the very popular Sky Aquarium is back on the 52nd floor of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower. Bringing together the world of the sea and the world of the sky, the event is always a hit with children and adults of all ages.
This year's Sky Aquarium is divided into three zones, the first of which is a unique aquarium and video collaboration called the Four Seasons Aquarium. Scenes of Japan throughout the year are projected on large screens against the back wall, while real koi, or carp, swim in the foreground.
After this room comes the Art Aquarium Gallery, where 23 smaller aquariums are artistically arranged by color, often housing only one type of fish or sea creature against bright backgrounds of sea plants and coral.
The third zone is Oasis Blue Planet, which recreates a deep-sea experience with different species of jellyfish floating in round aquariums, including the sphere-shaped Earth Aquarium, which is 1.5m in diameter. There are also tanks holding exotic axototl--aquatic, gilled salamanders.
After emerging from the relative darkness of the Sky Aquarium, visitors make their way to the Tokyo City View, where tiny clown fish swim in a crystal clear tank against the backdrop of the Tokyo skyline, including Tokyo Tower and the Tokyo Sky Tree. It's not often that we get to see two such very different worlds juxtaposed against one another, which makes this a great place to take one-of-a-kind photos.
But the Sky Aquarium isn't the only special event happening at Roppongi Hills this summer. Head back downstairs to O-Yane Plaza and finish your outing at the Roppongi Hills Summer 2011 Summer Garden, a Japanese-style beer garden.
The refreshment counter serves up cold beer, shaved ice and original cocktails such as a Japanese-style mojito, made with sudachi (a Japanese citrus fruit) and perilla, a type of Japanese mint.
Various foods are also available, such as Yamagata tofu and a delicious assorted dish of Miyazaki tomato, Cucumbers with Sendai miso. Take your food to one of the two tables equipped with cooling ashimizu footbaths and relax as you listen to the soothing sounds of rustling bamboo and furin wind chimes. Cheers!
