MORI LIVING's Father Daughter Party Gets A Masked Theme
May 31, 2017
This year, with a masquerade theme, for many little ones, it was their first experience with a grown-up masked ball.
The pro dancers, who taught a routine to the dads and their girls, also performed a beautiful routine.
But dancing wasn't the only thing to entertain the guests. There were also fun stations including a photo booth complete with funny disguises, and it was yet another unforgettable event!
In the few short years since it first launched, the father daughter party has become a favorite event amongst MORI LIVING residents. This year, organizers went with a masquerade theme, handing out pink masks to guests when they arrived. For many little ones, it was their first experience with a grown-up masked ball.
As with past father and daughter parties, this year there was a professional ballroom dance duo who taught a routine to the dads and their girls, divided into three groups by age. The different groups practiced their routines, and then the climax of the event came when they performed before the other groups, as well as mothers and other siblings, who joined the party later in the afternoon. The girls looked so proud to show off their new moves to their families! The pro dancers also performed a beautiful routine, eliciting many expressions of awe at the end when the male dancer lifted and spun around his partner.
Even after the formal performances, the fun wasn't over, as the dance floor was opened up for anyone who wanted to try out their moves. This was the time when both the children and the adults let loose: girls twirled in their stocking feet, making new friends as they did so, and dads jumped around to the latest pop music. This was the third year of the father daughter party, and it was fun to see how some of the girls who have attended since the beginning have grown up.
But dancing wasn't the only thing to entertain the guests. There was also a photo booth complete with funny accessories and disguises, a temporary metallic tattoo station, and a corner where girls and women alike could try on some beautiful Chaumet jewelry. Top all this off with plenty of food and drinks - including princess-themed mocktails - and it was yet another unforgettable event!
