Case Model Rooms Show a Different Style of Tokyo Living
May 01, 2013
Model rooms are now open at Case, one of Mori Living's latest and most unique properties. The building consists of only six units, and all of these are for sale rather than for rent.
The model rooms at Case show just a few examples of the myriad of ways in which these unique apartments could be used. One two-floor unit, type E, is laid out as an open-plan apartment with ample space for entertaining guests. The lower floor includes an open kitchen, living and dining area decorated with elegant furniture, while the upper level features a tatami room with sloping ceilings and large windows and sliding shoji doors that open onto the rooftop garden. One of the basement units, type F, is divided into two separate rooms framing a small private garden. One room is laid out as a studio or workspace, while the other encompasses the living, eating and sleeping space. Both rooms are decorated with an eclectic mix of vintage artifacts from the 1930s through the 1970s.
While the model rooms at Case provide inspiration, the empty units make it clear that the possibilities are endless. A place to entertain friends; a film screening room; a custom-made walk-in closet. These are just a few ideas, but countless others are just waiting to spring from your own imagination.
