An organic form
that blends in
with its natural
surroundings

The only low-rise residential building in Azabudai Hills, Garden Plaza Residence features an organic form designed by Thomas Heatherwick that undulates like the hills in the area. Windows frame the seasonal colors decorating the trees lining the streets outside, enhancing the idea that the building is at one with its natural surroundings.

A landscape where greenery becomes part of one’s lifestyle

Thomas Heatherwick

We were inspired to create a district that connects with people’s emotions in a different way. By combining cultural and social facilities with an extraordinary three-dimensional, explorable, landscape, it’s been possible to offer visitors and the local community somewhere to connect with each other and enjoy open green public spaces. This is a joyful and unique public place for Tokyo, designed to be cherished for many years.
