Security
Ensuring
peace of mind,
no matter what happens
Your home is the center of your life—the place where you spend more time than anywhere else. That’s why it needs to be the place where you feel safest.
Every Mori Building property has multilayered disaster preparedness and crime prevention systems in place that protect you from things that you may not even be aware of.
There is also an additional security system that links every Mori Building property, ensuring the safety of everyone who lives, works, and spends time in or near these properties. In a disaster, this system transforms an entire neighborhood into a safe space that offers shelter in a disaster instead of becoming a hazard.

Protecting your
peace of mind
Entrances and elevators are protected by identity verification systems. Additional security features include visitor screening at the front desk and security cameras located throughout the building that monitor the property around the clock.
Earthquake resistance
Protecting your life
The Azabudai Hills Residence A building can withstand even strong earthquakes at the level of the one that struck Japan in March 2011, thanks to a combination of active mass dampers, viscous wall damping, and oil dampers.
Meanwhile, elevators are designed to function even after a disaster, with numerous measures put in place to prevent a range of incidents, such as stopping between floors. This ensures that even residents who have trouble walking will be able to rapidly evacuate the building in an emergency.
Life continuity planning
Protecting your routine
Continuity is important following a disaster. A total of 250,000 emergency rations are stored across all Mori Building properties, but each apartment is also stocked with emergency supplies. These provide a robust emergency lifeline in case of disaster.

The Hills security network
Protecting an entire
neighborhood
All 1,600 Mori Building employees belong to an emergency task force that in a disaster can be rapidly deployed for disaster-relief activities, even at night and on holidays. Twice every year, employees participate in a large-scale disaster drill so they can become even better equipped to protect the entire neighborhood covering Mori Building’s properties.
