Toranomon Hills Residence Combines the Best of Luxury Living and Hotel Services
July 08, 2014
Residents of Toranomon Hills Residence can enjoy various hotel services by Andaz Tokyo in the comfort of their own homes. (Subject to fees)
The common spaces of Toranomon Hills Residence were designed by Tony Chi and Associates, the same firm behind the design of the Andaz Tokyo.
An amazing view can be seen from the large floor-to-ceiling windows.
If you've looked at Tokyo's skyline recently, you've probably noticed one very conspicuous new addition. With its peaked glass top towering over many of the city's other high-rise buildings, it's hard to miss.
In addition to offices, an international conference center, and a wide variety of restaurants, cafes and bars, Toranomon Hills is also home to some of Tokyo's most luxurious new apartments. And what's even better is that, through a partnership with the Andaz Tokyo, which occupies the top floors of the building, residents can enjoy hotel-quality services in the comfort of their own homes.
Imagine being able to order room service from your own apartment, 24 hours a day. Or hiring a hotel chef to cater your next home party. Or having your laundry done professionally and returned right to your door. For those living at Toranomon Hills Residence, all this and more is possible.
On a recent Friday afternoon I had the chance to visit a model apartment at Toranomon Hills. As soon as I entered the entrance lobby, I noticed that the design of the residence was warm and inviting, with a slightly retro feel to it. The other thing I noticed is that it looked like a cross between an upscale apartment complex and a luxury hotel.
This is because the common spaces of Toranomon Hills Residence were designed by Tony Chi and Associates, the same firm behind the design of the Andaz Tokyo. Getting out of the elevator, we walked down a hallway of backlit glass walls to the model apartment.
The inside of the unit did not disappoint. Spacious and stylish, it was an apartment that anyone would love to call home. But perhaps one of the most striking features was the amazing view from the floor-to-ceiling windows. Depending on which direction a particular apartment faces, it is possible to see the Imperial Palace grounds, the Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo Tower and more.
In addition to the services mentioned above, Toranomon Hills residents have the option of joining the spa at the Andaz Tokyo for an additional fee.
This means they can have access to the hotel's fitness center, swimming pool, jet bath and spa treatments. Get in a workout, soak in the hot tub, and then return to your home in the same building-what could be more convenient?
